Longest Wedding Dress – 2.1 km

Chineses Bride Lin Rong, 25, turned up for her wedding wearing a 2,162 metre long gown and it took over three hours for the 200 guests to unroll her wedding train and pin 9,999 red silk roses on her dress.

She wore a 2.1-km-long wedding dress in her bid to enter the Guinness record book.

Donn’t get it wrong. It was not the second wedding of Salma Hayek. Infact the actress and her husband, French billionaire François-Henri Pinault, tied the knot – for the second time on 25th April 09.

Salma, 42, wore a Balenciaga wedding gown by Nicholas Ghesquiere as she exchanged vows with Pinault, 46, at Venice’s opera house La Fenice. Her hairs were tied in a bun with a long veil, and was holding a bouquet of orchids and stephanotis with crystals.

Valentina Paloma – 16th months old , couple’s daughter, was the flower girl, along with Francois -10 and Mathilde – 8, Francois-Henri’s son and daughter from his first marriage.

Among the celebrity invitees were – Penélope Cruz, Edward Norton, Woody Harrelson, Olivier Martinez, Luis Miguel, Ashley Judd, Charlize Theron, Stuart Townsend, Bono, Gael García Bernal, Enrique Murciano, David Blaine, Ziyi Zhang, Anna Wintour and former French President Jacques Chirac.

The theme of wedding for the guests were black. Guests wore black and gold masks as they arrived for the ceremony.

Dancing Star Patrick Swayze and Wife Lisa Neimi Renewed Their Wedding Vows

Dirty Dancing star Patrick Swayze and his wife Lisa Neimi have renewed their wedding vows in a ‘Snow White’ fairytale themed ceremony.
The couple being married for 33 yeras wanted to reavow their love for one another. And creating a classic environment of fairy tale was a way to show the romance and magic was still abundance.
Patrick said “We did it very Prince Charming and Snow White. I rode in on a white stallion.”
Lisa added, “It was like a fairytale; one of the happiest days ever.”
Since being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year Patrick, 56 has undergone chemotherapy treatments which he has described as “hell” and credits Lisa for being by his side giving him the strength to cope with whatever is thrown at him.
The couple’s 33rd wedding anniversary is on 12th June this year and with determination, hope and love Patrick intends to fully celebrate that day and many more.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz tied their knot on May 17 this year at her preacher father’s L.A. home.
